Malawi:

The first thing that you notice when entering Malawi from Mozambique is that everyone speaks english. It was even more comforting for us when we discovered the friendly and warm nature of every malawian we spoke to.
Mulanje:

We entered Malawi at the famous tea estates which sit at the bottom of the highest peak in the country, Mulanje Massive.
We have just spent the last two days in a self-catering chalet at the foot of the giant granite koppie.
We even attempted to climb it with our guide Francis, but unfortunately the extremely steep incline got the better of us. Some of us just "don't do up"!
We visited a beautiful waterfall and had a picnic instead. Leigh wants to go back one day to do the 3 day hike to the highest peak. 3000 metres above sea level.
