The next day we headed to Liwonde National Park and set up camp at Nvuu Camp. A very fancy game lodge run by Wilderness Safari's. We went on an excellent boat safari on the Shire River. We saw lots of Hippo and crocodiles but what made it special was the fantastic range of bird life. It ended with a beautiful sunset accompanied by a gin and tonic! A highlight largely due to our informative game ranger Angel.
